Home: TRD: Resource utilisation: A VEGETATION MAP FOR THE LITTLE KAROO
There are 4 different maps:
- Little Karoo Vegetation Units with descriptions - Vegetation_Units2
- Little Karoo Vegetation Units with file attributes - Vegetation_Units2_Att
- Little Karoo Vegetation Biomes with file attributes - Biomes
- Little Karoo Vegetation Habitats with file attributes- Habitats
These maps will open diplaying a large map and an overview map. Clicking on the large map will diplay the unit description for A above or file attributes for B, C, & D above.
Clicking the zoom levels below the overview map enables zooming in and out, and clicking a spot on the overview map or on the arrows surrounding the main map will move the focus.
To view the legend click the "L"
To search for a particular vegetation unit (A & B above), click the search window above the overview map, select the unit and click on the magnifying glass. The focus of the main map will change and the selected vegetation unit will be displayed beneath a flashing yellow circle.
