Rainfall July 2010
The southerly parts of the West Coast, Boland, Overberg and Eden received reasonable rains, while the rest of the province, especially the Central Karoo received less to poor rains.
July 2010 compared with long-term
Eden and the Overberg received normal to above normal rains (George 112mm vs long term of 40mm). Poor rains in the Central Karoo are forcing drought conditions back in the Merweville and south and west of Murraysburg.
