Rainfall March 2010
This time of the year we expect more rain to the east of the province. Most of the western side of the province experienced less than 6mm rain while the rest experienced between 6 and 100mm of rain. Oudtshoorn region received less then 6mm of rain. Parts of the Central Karoo received 30+mm of rain, and even more in the extreme north eastern regions.
March 2010 compared with long-term
Most part of the province received below normal rains, including Eden DM. Normal to above normal rains has brought relief to parts of the accumulated drought stricken areas of the Central Karoo, except for the area between Beaufort West and Nelspoort.
