Rainfall February 2010
This time of the year we expect more rain to the east of the province. Instances of higher rains (more than 75mm) were recorded at George and north eastern parts of the Central Karoo.
February 2010 compared with long-term
Most part of the province received above normal rains. Except for George and adjacent areas, the South Coast received normal rains. Parts of the Cape Winelands and Cape Town Metropole district municipalities received normal to below normal rains.
