Temperature – December 2009
Maximum temperatures in December 2009 ranged between 23°C over the mountainous areas in the west and south to above 33°C over the northern interior.
Monthly mean minimum temperatures ranged between 12°C and 15°C over most of the province while lower temperatures occurred over the mountainous areas.

Mean monthly minimum temperatures were generally lower than during December 2008 over the entire province except in the north and northeast.
Mean monthly maximum temperatures in December this year were lower than during December 2008 over most of the province.
