Rainfall November 2009
After most of the rain during November occurred in the south of the province, the rainfall distribution during November took a more winter like pattern with large amounts of rain over the western parts of the province and lower rainfall over the southern and eastern parts.
November 2009 compared with long-term
Above normal rainfall only occurred over the western parts of the province with some areas recording more than 500% of the average rainfall for November. Regrettably, the southern parts received in general less than 50% of the average rainfall for November.
