Rainfall July 2009
The highest rainfall totals occurred over the southern and western parts of the province and the mountainous areas in the southwest received more than 200 mm of rain. Very little rain occurred over the central Karoo.
July 2009 compared with long-term
While the northern parts of the province received less rain than average, above normal rain occurred over the southern and western parts. This also includes the important wheat producing areas.
