Rainfall April 2009
During April 2009, almost the entire province received rain. The highest falls were recorded over the traditionally drier northeastern parts of the province with large areas receiving in excess of 50 mm. Even higher falls were reported along the Garden Route.

While the winter rainfall area experienced drier than average conditions, above normal rainfall was reported from most of the eastern half of the province.
