Minimum temperatures in February 2008 for the Western Cape were mostly between 12°C and 18°C.
Monthly mean maximum temperatures for the Western Cape were mostly between 24°C and 30°C for the southwestern to eastern coastal areas. The West Coast and the Central Karoo recorded temperatures in the range of 30°C to 36°C.

Mean monthly maximum temperatures in February 2008 for most parts of the Western Cape were mostly lower than during the previous year.
Temperature – February 2008 compared with long-term
Minimum temperatures during February 2008 were near normal over most parts of the Central Karoo, northern West Coast, Boland and Eden with the deviation within 1°C. Cape Town, the Overberg and southern West Coast recorded above normal temperatures.
Monthly maximum temperatures for the Western Cape were near normal to below normal over the eastern parts and above normal over the western parts.
