The wind during December 2007 were mostly light mainly from the south (27.8%) to the southeast (16.9%). This is similar to the long-term average and conditions during December 2006.

The wind during December 2007, December 2006 and on average during December are predominantly light to moderate from the south.
Tygerhoek
Predominant winds for December 2007 were light dominantly from the east (32.5%). There was a smaller component from the south than during December 2006 and the average.
Voorstekop
Even though it was mostly calm (36.4%), during December 2007 the wind had a larger component from the southeast to south and less from the west than during December 2006 and than the average situation.
