During November 2007, November 2006and on average during November, the wind was predominantly light from the south.
Tygerhoek
Predominant winds for November 2007 were light mainly from the west (29.2%), southeast (19.4%) and west (17.8%). During November 2006 it was mostly from the east to the southeast while the long-term winds are highly variable with mostly a southerly component.
Voorstekop
Even though, it was mostly calm (33.8%),the wind during November 2007 was light predominantly from the southeast (18.9%) and west (17.3%), while during November 2006 and on average the wind was mostly light from the southeast.
