Predominant winds for October 2007 and the previous year (October 2006) were light dominantly from the east (27.7%; 21.5%) and west (21.9%; 18%). The long-term average is dominated mostly by a flow from west to southwest.
Voorstekop
Even though it was mostly calm (47.6%), October 2007 winds and the long-term winds were light predominantly from the southeast (18%), while the October 2006 winds were mostly light and variable.
