Predominant winds for March 2007 were from the east (30.3%), west (16.8%) and southeast (15.6%).  These winds are more or less similar to the long-term average, but differ slightly in direction from the previous year.

Voorstekop

Even though it was mostly calm (38.4%), the wind during March 2007 was light predominantly from the southeast (20.8).  The long-term average and the situation during March 2006 were similar.

Voorstekop

During March 2007, winds were light predominantly from the southeast (18.5%), west (13.3%) and the south (12.6%). The wind during February 2006 and the long-term average is light predominantly from the southeast to the south.
