Temperature – February 2007
Minimum temperatures in February 2007 for most areas in the Western Cape ranged between 12°C and 18°C, with the exception of the high-lying areas which recorded temperatures from 9°C to 12°C.
Maximum temperatures for most places over the Western Cape ranged from 27°C to 33°C. Some areas over the Overberg, Boland and Cape Town recorded temperatures below 27°C, while some areas over the Central Karoo recorded mean monthly maximum temperatures of over 33°C.

Temperature – February 2007 compared to February 2006
Mean monthly minimum temperatures for February 2007 for Western Cape were cooler than the previous year’s minimum temperatures for the whole province with the deviations between -4°C and 0°C.
Mean monthly maximum temperatures for February 2007 for Western Cape were predominantly lower than during the previous year, especially in the west. Deviations ranged between -6°C and 0°C.
