Rainfall February 2007

Monthly rainfall for most places in February was below 30 mm with the exceptions of the western Overberg and some Mosselbay-Knysna area with rainfall of up to 50mm. The lowest total monthly rainfall is evident over the Central Karoo with more than one third of the district recording less than 5mm.

February 2007 compared with long-term

Most places over the districts of the West Coast, Boland, Overberg and Cape Town received near normal to above normal rains in February, while other districts (Central Karoo and Eden) received below normal rainfall in February 2007.
