The NDVI for 21 - 30 September 2007 was lower than in the previous year over most parts of the province.
21 – 31 September 2007 compared with the long-term mean
The NDVI was mostly normal over most parts of the province.
PASG (Percentage of Average Seasonal Greenness) for June to September compared with the long-term mean
Percentage of Average Seasonal Greenness (PASG) for July to September shows near normal with a great bias to above normal vegetative conditions in most places, except for most parts of the Central Karoo with 70% to 90% of the cumulative vegetation greenness as compared with the long-term mean.
