Heat units for December 2007 over the Western Cape ranged between 100 and 500 GDD with most places recording monthly heat units between 300 GDD and 400 GDD.

Accumulated heat units for October to December 2007 were near normal to above normal for the West Coast, Cape Town, Overberg and southern Boland. The other parts of the province received below normal cumulative heat units.
