Cumulative heat units recorded from October to January 2007 for the Western Cape province mostly ranged from 1000GDD to 1500GDD.

Heat units – October to January 2007 compared with October to December 2004 and the long term.

Cumulative heat units recorded from October to January 2007 were mostly higher than the previous year over most parts of the province. In contrast, a notable exception is evident over the Boland.

Accumulated heat units from October to January 2007 are near normal to above normal over the whole province.
