I am currently a Scientist specialising in Alternative Crops at the Department of Agriculture in the Western Cape Provincial Government of South Africa.
My mandate is to undertake advanced research for the development of new and existing technologies in the field of Alternative Crops, improving farming efficiency and to transfer this technology to the entire agricultural sector.
I am currently a PhD candidate. My thesis title is the Rooting dynamics of honeybush (Indigenous tea) functional responses to transplantation shock in the field.
