Project Overview

The Provincial Decision-Making Enabling (PROVIDE) Project is a national project to facilitate policy decision-making at national and provincial level by supplying policymakers and decision makers with quantitative policy information. The project entails the development of a series of databases (Social Accounting Matrices/SAMs) and concomitant economic models (computable general equilibrium/CGE models) to be used in policy analysis. The research team  is located at Elsenburg in the Western Cape.
