CIAT: Second CAPRI Seminar Cape Program for Rural Innovation
The Provincial Departments (PDA’s) of the three Cape provinces has initiated a partnership with Wageningen University & Research Centre (WUR). This project is known as the Cape Programme for Rural Innovation (CAPRI). The CAPRI partnership will strengthen organizational and staff capacities in the three provinces and assure that agricultural training and education is effectively delivering input to provincial extension policy development and that education and training on agricultural extension is responsive to the broad needs of the developing agricultural sector in general and the emerging farmers in particular.
