Let's get Cooking!

Remember to always wash you hands before cooking activities.
Ask an adult for help, especially when handling knives or hot pans from the oven.

BAKE YOUR OWN BREAD!
You need:
500g flour
1 packet yeast
1 tsp salt
1tsp sugar
enough luke-warm water to make a stiff dough. Be careful not to add too much water at once - rather add a little at a time.
Knead the dough until it is no longer sticky, and forms a small ball easily. Cover and wrap in a blanket or leave in a hot spot (like a sunny spot) until the dough has doubled in size - probably about an hour or so. Knead it again, and now you're ready to form your loaves. If you want to, you can use the dough like play-do, and make other shapes and figures. Leave to raise again, and bake at 180 degrees celsuis until it has a brown crust, and a knife pushed into the bread comes out clean.
